The two most used exchange formats are now included in BricsCAD Pro and higher. Most users no longer buy or renew a separate Communicator license.
BricsCAD Mechanical and Ultimate include ACIS, CATIA, Creo Elements, NX, Parasolid and other formats. Install the Communicator plug-in and open them.

For most users, no. In V27, STEP and IGES are included in BricsCAD Pro and higher. BricsCAD Mechanical and Ultimate also include ACIS, CATIA, Creo Elements, NX, Parasolid and other formats. You only install the free Communicator plug-in. Pro and BIM users who need formats beyond STEP and IGES keep their maintenance or subscription active for Communicator.
